the strainmaster
Social series / Campaign concept

Building the library.
A gram at a time.

A collection people can watch take shape. Every episode documents one real sample and adds something the next reader couldn't get from a generic strain description.

The recurring format

Gram 001. Gram 002. Gram 003. Each installment opens on the flower, identifies the strain and producer, and looks closely at its color, structure and aroma. A short caption adds one interesting piece of sourced background. The full entry lives alongside the strain's reference profile.

Keep the strain and producer visible in every episode so people can find the matching entry later. Firsthand observations appear after the sample has actually been documented.

One sample, three useful pieces

01

The reveal / short video

A slow macro pass over the flower, then the strain name and entry number. Producer and batch on a clean title card. Finish with “Another page in the library.”

02

The close look / photo carousel

Whole flower → macro detail → reported family tree → firsthand aroma notes → the profile link. Use original photos when available, with source credits for any licensed reference images.

03

The permanent entry / site journal

Photos, date, producer, batch and observations. Keep the specific sample separate from claims about every product sold under that strain name.

The voice

Curious, direct and a little obsessive about the details. Talk about what is actually in the photograph. If the aroma is closer to pine cleaner than a fruit bowl, say that. If the famous purple strain turns up green, that's a story too. No invented scores, canned superlatives or experiences we haven't had.

First six editorial angles

01

Blue Dream: start with a familiar name

Introduce the collection and show what a documented sample entry will contain.

02

Sour Diesel: the name sets expectations

Compare the published aroma description with honest notes from the actual sample.

03

Granddaddy Purple: a name isn't a color guarantee

Let the real photograph drive the conversation about appearance.

04

Wedding Cake: follow the family tree

Use one sourced lineage detail to connect this entry to the wider library.

05

Durban Poison: make room for the classics

A short strain-history entry grounded in the reference, alongside sample photography.

06

Same strain, different producer

Photograph two batches side by side and describe their visible and aromatic differences.

A manageable starting rhythm

One documented sample per week can supply a short video, a carousel and a permanent journal entry. Batch the photography in one sitting. Grow the reference library now and add original reporting steadily; the campaign doesn't have to wait for 150 firsthand samples.

Track profile visits, saves, returning visitors and time spent exploring other strains. Views alone won't show whether the campaign is building a useful destination.

This is the campaign concept, not a scheduled or posted campaign. Social account links and platform-specific publishing have not been configured.
